Hazel Sutton, 14, is a tenth grader from Fairbanks, Alaska. Her family had dogs before she was born and she started running them as a little kid. Hazel's mid-distance races include T-Dog 50, T-Dog 100, Willow Jr. 100, and Jr. Iditarod. When not out with the dogs, she can be found cross country skiing, bird watching, running, and listening to music. After high school, Hazel plans to go to college to pursue a degree in biology fieldwork; and she plans to continue mushing.
