Addy Pederson, 16, is an eleventh grader from Homer, Alaska. Raised in Quinhagak, she moved to Homer when she was 4 years old. Addy ran dogs from her parents recreational kennel until she was 2020, then she bought her first racing dog and her racing kennel has grown ever since. She has competed in Knik 100 (2023, 2024), Willow Jr. 100 (2024, 2025), Jr. Idiatod (2024, 2025), and Knik 200 (2025). In addition to sled dogs, Addy also enjoys hunting, hiking, camping, fishing, and training the house dog. After high school, she is considering a career in engineering and will definitely continue running sled dogs.
